I inherited an alvarez m#5023 from my grandfather before he died. It's not for sale, so I don't care about what it's worth. I'm curious to find out the year it was made.
www.alvarezgtr.com says the 1'st two numbers are relate to the year of the emporer so 50 would be 1975 (on their chart). the 2nd two numbers relate to the month of production. (so what does that mean for 23?) So, I'm not sure if I'm looking at this correctly.
If anyone knows the year this was made I'd appreciate it.
