Mine is in bad condition (lots of dings) and I had it appraised at $300.00. It sounds much better than most $800.00 guitars out there now, but it appears that the old Alvarez line (5023s etc.) aren't drawing much more than $200.00 in the used guitar market right now.

: I have an Alvarez 5023 that my grandfather gave me. He still had the original recipt thats from the music store i shop at. The year he bought it was 1975. Ive been wanting to know how much it would be but i have found nothing.
