Hey. I bought a Takemine guitar used at a pawn shop in some little town 2 years ago. The guy that sold it to me said it was about 20 years old. It belonged to the guitarist in the band Mahogany Rush. I bought it for $450.00. Anyways, its an FP350 SM1 SB. I cant find anything on the internet about it, do you have any info on it? The year it was made or how much it might be worth? Thank you!
I have one for sale in San Diego, private party
This popular thread has been given its own page : Takamine FP 360 SC
: I have a beautiful FP360SC Takamine to sell. I cannot find any info on this model- where was it made, etc. Can anyone help me here? I don’t know how much to ask. It was not in the archive section of Takamine.com thanks
how much do you want?
I too have an FP 360-S (not SC), and I can vouch for its sound: LOUD, and sweet when finger-picked or played softly. I seldom play it through an amp, as I get plenty of sound out of it. I love mine, and paid almost $1,000 American in 1989! Good luck, and if you find a willing buyer, I might be a seller.
Best wishes,
Jim J

I live in Ohio and I have a guy trying to sell me his takamine for $500 and I have not looked at it yet, but am strongly thinking about buying it. But If I don’t is there anyone out there who may be interested?
Your FP 360 SC is the closest I’ve come across to mine. I have a FP 940 SC Dreadnaught cutaway with an ebony fretboard. It was made in 1991 and apart from that I cannot find ANY information on my guitar. It is not as sweet as a Martin or other top end guitars acoustically but when amplified, there is nothing I have heard that compares to it. Any help would be appreciated.
I’m still searching for a Takamine EF389 12 string. Does anyone have one or know where I might inquire?

I have an Epiphone Masterbuilt Deluxe from the 40s’. The mother of pearl on the headstock is damaged, and it has dings, but is in excellent playing condition. I’d be interested in knowing what it’s worth, both for insurance and selling purposes. Thanks! [email protected]
