I have been playing guitars “off and on” for circa 20 years but started to take a real interest in classical guitar music only 16 months ago.
I bought a Cordoba C10 parlour “blind” ie on line. It’s a good guitar but I’m starting to feel it’s limitations. I won’t “chance” buying on line again.

My tutor has pegged me at circa a grade 7 but as I only intend to play for personal pleasure I’ll never take ABRSM exams so I won’t know, but I do attempt some music at that level (Cavatina, Bach BWV 1007, Chopin Nocturne).

To the point, I’m looking for the next jump in guitar quality (a full size this time) and have a budget of circa £7k to use for a guitar that will assist my development for the next 5 years.
    Do you have any thoughts?
    Many thanks
    Kevin

  2. Aria Concert Classical Guitar
    Cheryl Smith

I am looking for above guitar.

I had the opportunity some 30 years ago to play one and I never forgot it. There was no action between the strings and the neck of the guitar, making playing effortless. The strings were nylon.

I’d love to purchase a used Aria or a new one if it meets that one qualification.

Any information you could provide would be appreciated. Thank you.

    Attention: Adrian Copley

I hope you will remember that I wrote to you from Malaysia about getting either a Rodriguez or an Admira guitar. You asked me to give you a few days warning. I am now in Sheffield and plan to pass through Stafford on the way to Ludlow on Friday. I hope this gives you time to get them in stock. If I can get your number from Directory Enquiries I’ll phone you shortly.

There is no catalogue of Mr. Friederich’s guitars, except the one that he probably has in his possession. If you want a brand new guitar, you must contact him directly. I have ordered one three years ago. It might be ready next year. Guitarsalon.com and handpickedguitars.com sometimes has used ones.

I am looking for specialist guitar family strings. Do you stock any, or know of company that does. Also do you know of any string company that makes strings especially for the customer?

I need some on the level advice about which classical guitar I should go for. I have a £500 budget – what would you recommend? I’m thinking of a top range Yamaha as these seem to offer best value for money – am I right?

    Thanks for your time
