Teisco Del Rey EP-100T Hollowbody
An old high school buddy of mine gave me this guitar about 16 years ago. According to him it had been sitting in his grandmother's attic for 20+ years, and he didn't know what to do with it, so he gave it to me.
I've never seen anything like it. It's brown, like a faux mahogany finish. It has the 4+2 tuning peg configuration, zero fret, multi-notched barrel bridge and Bigsby-style tailpiece, the tremolo bar was missing when I got it, and the threads appear stripped.
I really don't know exactly what I have here, maybe someone can help me figure this out. People I've taken it to guessed it to be a '67 model, but info on a Teisco site places it around '65. I dunno, I just like the guitar and want to get it playable if possible.
Thanks,
Kevin
