I need to find a low priced left-handed electric guitar. He has a friend who has an amp. We spent the day in Plano, Tx looking for one under $100. None to be found. I don't want to spend $250 for his first guitar until I see if he's going to give it a good try. Can you help me out. What web sites are there that sell low priced left-handed guitars? Please write back.

The lessor the quality of the guitar the less likely he is succeed. Look at the mexican Stratocasters. Best bang for the buck.
Teach him right handed. It makes no difference (Paul McCartney is right handed but plays left handed). Then he will have no trouble be taught or watching other players play or finding an instrument. There is no real left hand right hand, just depends on which way you start.

I just got an electric guitar for Xmas today. I'm left handed, but it's a right handed guitar. I've been practicing on a right handed acoustic guitar before today. I've never played a left handed guitar, I would find it to uncomfortable now. Just give him a right handed guitar, unless he's already played a left handed guitar, he won't know any different.

Well, I knonw exactly what your going through, even though I'm right-hand, I knonw how hard it is to find a affortablr guitar that actually sounds ok~ I got help from a guitar genius friend of mine~ There's thais brand/line Kramer -- it's actually under gibson! If you go to www.musicyo.com you'll find a lot of Kramer guitars for a really low price! A Kramer Focus vt111s is actually equalivent to a standard strat! The material they use is no different from the cheap fender strats but the building process is a lot better and they still sounds okay withouth any making any changes! You can also buy them a packages(although it'll only save you about $4!)~ So go and look! And I hear from reviews that the shipping and stuff is great(no delays or anything)! Hope I helped!!

tell me about it- when I was first looking for a guitar it seemed to take forever. that was until I found the kramer focus vt111s for $70. i think they make them left handed now. well i used www.musicgearreview.com to find reviews and a lot of people gave it a perfect score- and the rest gave it close to perfect. I'm looking for a guitar pedal that was manufactured by AMPEG. The official name that Ampeg assigned to this unit is the PATCH 2000 PEDAL. It was exclusively designed for the HAGSTROM SWEDE PATCH 2000 guitar and/or bass - it can be used for either.
This unit also came with SPECIAL CABLES (two sets?) used to connect the pedal to the guitar. If you have, or you know anyone that has, please… let me know.
