      I own an early Jassmaster limited addition , it is the only one I have ever seen like it …It is sunburst but has a gold anodized pick guard. I am told it’s very rare. Make an offer. i know what it is worth so don’t embarrass me with a low ball offer! I can send pictures if you like !

    I’m looking desperately for a good Steinberger GR with Hss or HsH p.u. Problem is that most of the owners will never in their life(sanity) sell them or they have a Musicyo-Spirit-Hohner/trash kinda guitar. But if you have a real one all american made (preferring) Newsbury-made then we’ll have to talk asap!!!!!!!
    I myself play a steinberger guitar(duncans, joebarden-bridge )for more than 10years now and shocked several professional PRS-Gibson-Fender-Ibanez-custombuilds players with my guitarsound and versatilty but have to got a reserve one just in case………….

  20. HM Strat Valuation?

    Calling experts to identify & value my Guitar.I’m a novice, so please excuse any ignorance!. I seem to have a Squier HM strat, version 2. It’s a wonderful metalic ivory colour, with three chrome volume/tone controls, dual humbucker and two single coils, schaller bridge (flyod rose licensed), locking head. Any ideas on further details and valuations?

      Well Mark, I have found your post about a year and a half after you posted it so you will most likely never see this. I have a Squier HM3 that I bought new years ago. I love the darn guitar. As for valuation, don’t get your hopes up. They typically sell for somewhere around $100 to $200. What’s strange is that anywhere I take it, people always comment on it and can’t believe it’s a Squier. Yes, there was a point when Squier actually made a guitar that didn’t look like a strat.         Don’t know whether you’d call the Squier I’m selling at the moment a HM strat – but it sure has all of the details. Pointy headstock, 2 single coils, one humbucker – Black hardward and jack sock on the side.Korean 1989 as denoted from serial number. Awesome player! and Awesome sound.

      Good luck getting one. I have one and it’s the best. Why do you think I bought it. I has probably, if not indefinately, the best distortion of all processors, just quite shy of the unbelievalbe distortion of a mesa boogie. But I wish you the best of luck! HA HA!
