I have an Ensenada 12 string that my dad bought me in 1970 from Sears. It has been great all these years, except for one problem. I've had to have repair work done to the frame where the supports around the sound hole were constructed incorrectly. If the supports are not parallel to the neck, they are incorrect and will cause the base of the guitar to bow up and eventually crack. This is a simple problem if you catch it before it happens and correct it right away. Then the tension of the strings will not do that damage.
