I own 2 Guild guitars for 23 years and have no idea what their value is at present. They are F512 NT and F50R NT. They are Brazilian Rosewood and I was wondering what they are worth or where I can find out.
I wish to sell my 1975 (#119656) D-40. Comes with decent road-worn hard shell case. The axe is in excellent condition. The sound is typically Guild–crisp and deep. Only a small ding (repaired) that lends a little more character to a fine guitar. New Jersey.

I need help identifying a Guild 12-string that seems unique:
(1) bought used, 1969, with several years’ playing evident;
(2) Label shows model as "412 Spec", Serial # as "AE-174"
(3) Gold tuners
(4) ROSEWOOD back (yup)
(5) ARCHED back (yup!)
I think this was the prototype for the F-512. Does anyone have a history here?

Can anyone tell me where to get information on a Guild Aviator electric guitar, HG100441. Thanks
If you have one and are anywhere in California or Nevada from Tahoe to Reno, e-mail me at [email protected]. The guitar must be in good condition with no major blemishes. M.B.
Just bought an awesome x-79-3. It’s a real tone machine. I was wondering if anyone has a wiring diagram or knows what the three-way switches do.
I own a x-79 3
the 3 way switches allow to use pick ups in or out of phase.

This popular thread has been given its own page : need information on Guild D-100 and D-100C
It’s not in production anymore. It came out of the Guild Customer shop and was very limited in production. The "C" stands for carved heel. I own one myself, serial number AD100085 and it was made August 2000. I don’t think I’ll ever sell it,it’s amazing in sound and appearance. If anyone has a JF-100 I’m looking for one.
:I also own a Guild D-100C. My favorite guitar. Very beautiful and incredable sound. Mine is a late 90’s model, I think.
Dear Sir:
Would you consider selling your Guild D-100C?
Thanks.

I been looking for a D 100 for several years… if anyone has one for sale…contact me
I believe that the "C" designation in D-100C meant cutaway. Other than that, the two models should be identical.
does anyone out there know if the D-100 is still in production? what about the D-100C is it still in production? what are the main differences between the two? What would be the year model of serial# AD100087?
The D-100C :
I have one.
Without a cut-away.
he “C” is very intricate wood carving on the neck at the body.
How much would I sell it for?
IT IS NOT FOR SALE!!!
with me for life …
Why does Guild pop up everytime Fender F512 entered…who sold a patent to whom..anyone know some history?
Could just be character recognition.
The Fender’s actual designation if F-5-12.
It’s a great guitar. I’ve had mine for nearly 20 years and the neck is still as straight as a ruler with an action as low as an electric. A lovely instrument to play – even down below the 12th fret. I tune mine a whole tone below concert pitch which helps reduce tension on the neck.
I am not sure of the # but I know it is Hobokenh and 1969 and small, beautiful mahogony. My mother had given it to me and started to try to take the thing back. I didn’t let her. Now she has disowned me and I might need to sell some things due to I can’t work right now due to chronic pain. She said she was reading they are worth money.
Thanks,
Catherine

The value of anything is what someone will pay for it. Value is never fixed nor assured. It is the seller’s decision whether the offered price is acceptable or not.

Anyone know the best site to sell this guitar on. My brother played this back in 63 and has been collecting dust in his closet since then. I’ve only dusted it off and put new strings on it to see if everything still worked. The neck is straight, electronics all work. The front part of laminate, just above the tuning pegs, has lifted but does not effect how it plays. Been blowing my neighbors out with it plugged into my amp.
I know better then try to give it a good cleaning with the wrong stuff and don’t want to devalue it by gluing the laminate down improperly. However in the right hands this can be a fantastic vintage guitar.
i need a pick gard for a d40.
Hello, I have a Guild D55 serial number: AD5510453 in "antique burst" purchased new on 2-6-99. The tag inside lists the serial number and says "Rhode Island". The guitar has a hard case and humidifier. It plays AWSOME! -I’ve never really fancied myself a guitarist although I can play. Soon after purchasing, I began to get involved in other hobbies and pretty much stopped playing on any sort of regular basis. As a result the guitar is in EXCELLENT shape save for one small knick on the front due to me trusting my 21 year old brother with the guitar for several months.
I have come on somewhat dificult times (money-wise) and am thinking of getting rid of the guitar. I am open to all resonable offers (cash and/or partial trade for cash and another guitar) I can send pictures of any part of the guitar you need to see. eMail me if interested.
-Brian

does anyone know what a guild x-375b circa 1956 guitar would be worth?
I’ve got a 59 Guild MC75 that’s in not the best of condition. It’s a very playable guitar, and it’s been played. It’s got lots of character marks and finish wear and checking but no cracks. The neck is fairly straight and solid but the fret markers have shrunk.I’m considering selling itand would like to know if it would be cost effective to have any of these things repaired first or would it be better to sell it in original condition?

As far as I can remember, they made a 5062 and 5063 Bicentenial model. They had the SLM truss rod cover, stars at every other inlay, and Alvarez ’76 at the seventeenth fret, with the plaque on the back of the head stock. Some plaques have come off over the years due to the small amount of glue/adhesive/hot cold climate, etc. Alvarez made the 5062 for many years, but only the 76 will have stars on bridge, inlays with stars, and Alvarez ’76 at seventeenth fret. Clear pickguard was special for this model too. I purchased a 5062 in 1977
I have one Guild S-100 almost 30 years old ,It’s playing good but frets are very wasted. Ineed to Know where I can find the original frets.
Can anyone give me some info on these guitars? 3 Active EMG’s, 2 single coils and a humbuckler.
I have a Guild that has a "Bluesbird" title on the head but it doesn’t look like the current model. IT has a head like a "Detonator", 3 EMG pickups configured like a Strat, and a maple quilt body like a "Les Paul".
Thanks for your help.
It is indeed a bluesbird, made in 1984 till 1987. There were about 1600 made, they were delivered in a few different colors, mostly blue. There is also a tigerstripe model. The sound can be descibed between a tele/strat but with the body of a les paul. The humbucker has a splitcoilswitch on the toneknob, very telecaster like tone with this switch turned on. This was a very expensive guitar and is very hard to find these days but it is the greatest guitar ever build on this planet! For pictures see http://www.stardust-bc.tk also the mp3’s are all played with this guitar.

I am currently selling mine. I am not a player, but I assure you it is a great guitar – incredible tone, easy action. A beautiful instrument all around. Mine is # AJ2705. In terrific shape, I bought it in 1972, and it has hardly ever been played.
