I just purchased a Galveston guitar mine does have a model number inside it 010A136 and shows it was made in China, the coloring semms to be the same as what you described. Mine is a steel string acu. guitar. I paid about $90.00 for it, its 3 quater size.
I just won a new Galveston electric acoustic guitar for $51.00 on Yahoo! auctions. It looks nice in the ad. I hope it is at least playable.
I have never heard of Galveston guitars.
Galveston Guitars are made in China. I heard that they are made at the Epiphone factory but it’s not likely because Epiphone is a sub of Gibson and some of their guitars are made in Korea. All and all It’s a good guitar for the money. I have a es335 knockoff. The body is beautiful and the dual humbuckers sound really great. It’s a tones are sweet.

Just wanted to follow up on my previous comment about the Galveston guitar. It is a pretty good guitar for the money. Has a good neck with reasonable good action and sound. Also has a nice finish which makes it look like it’s a more expensive guitar. It’s a keeper for now.
i have just gotten a Galveston electric guitar and i just have to say it is awesome!!not sure what model but it’s an acrylic orange guitar. sounds great with or without a distortion pedal. excellent buy!!!
I too just bought a galveston electric. Mine is transparnet orange.. It has a floyd rose tremlo system on it and it does rock. I too think it was a great deal for under 200.

It sounds like i have the same one. My parents picked it up for me from a pawn shop for $100. I’ve never heard of galveston or anything. If i find any info on it ill email you or something.
