they were made with the best pick up system i have seen i buy every one i see just because they are so RARE! this guitar is made in the USA . fetures an active system powered by 1 or 2 9v bat. that alow you to hold some sick ass notes for as long as you hold down the fret , dep on your model they have a on and off switch a selector switch and an effect , 1 volume pod a tone pod , and an active gain pod if you have got this guitar for 3 to 400 bucks you stole it ! if you have any further ??ss about your model feel free to email me funkhouser_brandon@yahoo.com

Sorry to disagree with you but I worked for ASI as the Guitar technician and Sustainiac installer and these guitars were produced between 1989 to maybe 1993. They were mad in Taiwan and the guitars are cheap POS. The Sustainiac is a great invention made by Alan Hoover who also worked with and is still producing newer versions of the product out of Indianapolis.
