My Old Fender Squier Stratocaster

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could tell me a little about my Fender Squier Stratocaster. It has the "Big 1970's" Headstock, with the 70's lettering, and its serial number is SQ25808. I was curious as to where it originated from, and the year it was made, plus anything else. I am most curious because, it plays, and sounds great for a 'fake Fender'. It gives a real (American) Stratocaster a run for its money. Maybe not quite as hot as my sunburst Fender Lone Star Stratocaster, but close!! Thanks!
