Yes, I own an "Elite" (black finish w/ebony-gold trim). A real player and sweet on the action. My only problem was the factory bridge. I had a 'tunamatic' style bridge piece installed to improve intonation and sustain. Wow! What a difference. I remember doing the same on a Gibson ES175 I owned and back in the 60's. It became a standard for Gibson. (Don't know about Fender though?) Mine is for sale as I no longer use it as much as my D'Angelico or Heritage Golden Eagle.
Check "Craigslist". This is a players instrument without doubt. Don't know anyone who's played mine or others who knows this is a real guitar.
