i had one bought for me for my first guitar sold it and miraculously (cant spell that) have managed to get it back. SUNN is a brand of fender like G&L and music man before it went to ernie ball it is built to exact fender requirements and has a stamp (mine does) under sunn with fmic which stands for "fender musical instrument company" this came about when fender split yet still owned all its companys was a wierd time as fender was sueing its own companys. dumb no? there s**t hot not great great but awsome for what they are, better also than a squire as sunn mustangs are made of real wood not plyt wood and fiber glass hahaah, im about to by another n start collecting them coz there quite rare.

I started playing the electric guitar about five years agow after i’ve play’d si(c)(x) years of classic guitar
i’t was my uncle’s guitar who recentley died and this guitar isn’t only kickass nice it has a nice creamy vintage look just like jimi’s guitar and it has soul, no s**t , this guitar is like a god i gues it’s about 20 years old, i think and it has been standing at my nefew’s house for about four years now and now i really gotta get thios guitar back, but i’m afraid to ask this because it’s his father’s.. this sux man, the weird thing is that i’m not even siked about fender guitar’s except this one you know? i’m rather a les paul guy, but this guitar, shi**t this one’s heavy

one of the reasons thatthe Sunn Mustang is so heavy…(the older ones) is that they used an indian hardwood called "Black limba". Its a very dense wood and although the standard of electrics wasnt high on these models, the wood can justify the fitting of top drawer pick-ups and hardware.
