The box bass isn't a replacement for quality wood and fine luthier craftsmanship, but rather is's a crazy fun bass to see, hear, and play. Perfect for home recordings because the tone is damm close to any upright bass made at any cost. The controversy between those that like it and those that hate it is a lot of fun!
