Here is the tabs for Storm by Blyss (Lifehouse) with the help of Allen tom i was able to experiment with this song and find a picking paterne that worked for me. I know its probebly not exact but i sounds nice. hope it helps some of you!

      By( Allen Tom)
Let’s see if this works. Yay!! my first contribution to any guitar thing. The chords are

written as Em, C, G, but probably should be written as Em7, C2, and G5. Too lazy to change

it, but the chords are written out at the end.

Each chord is a 4/4. Except for the G – D/F#, which is a 4/4 together. You can try G/F#

instead of D/F# sometimes, the important part is really the /F#.

  5. HERE IS THE TAB TO STORM
    Matthew Wensing

: can someone plz help me with lifehouse – storm tabalture?
: i want hte actual spaced out TABLATURE PLZ… not CHORDS
: if you can plz help me out, very much appreciated :P~

    Everyone:

    Use http://www.mxtabs.net/tabs.php?path=Guitar,l,719,Lifehouse,Storm,47122 to follow along.

Okay, I figured this song out from the chords. It’s actually quite simple. Here:

    ———————–0————————————————-
    ——–3—————-3———————————————–
    ——0—0–0————0—0———0——————-0——–
    —-2——-2—–2———2———0—0—-0———0—0—-0
    –2————–3——————-2——–2———2———2—
    ————————————3——————-3—————-

    —————————————————————————
    ————3————————————————————-
    ———0—-0—0———2—————–0—————-0——-
    ——2———2———0—-0—0——-0—0—0——-0–0–0-
    —2——————–0———0——-2——–2——-2——2—
    ———————-2——————3—————-3————–

That’s the pattern played during the verses. When he breaks into "If I could just see you . . ." (into the chorus), the pattern varies . . .

(end of verse….) If I could just see you…
    —————————————————————————
    ————3————————————————————-
    ———0—-0—0———2—————–0——————0—-
    ——2———2———0—-0—0——-0—0—0——–0——-
    —2——————–0———0——-2——–2——–2——–
    ———————-2——————3——————3———-

    ———————————-0————————————–
    ————————————-3———————————–
    ———-2———-0—————-0———————0———0
    ——-0———-2——–2————-0—–0——–0———0—
    —-0———-2——–3——————-2———2———2—–
    -2———-0—————————————-3———3——-

The final (3-2-0-0) pattern you see directly above is linked directly to another repitition of this part of the chorus riff. So as he is singing "If I could see you" for the second time you will go from the second (3-2-0-0) directly into (2-0-0-2) (0-2-2-0). Line 1 to Line 2, Line 2 to Line 3, and Line 4 to Line 5 of the chorus are tied together like this. Going from line 3 to line 4, do not perform this, but simply perform the (3-2-0-0) twice and start again at the Em7 in Line 4 (timing hint: the word "and" is sung just before you start the Em7 (2-2-0-3))…

In other words, you will do the connection in succession anytime you see a G to D/F# to Em7. The reason you don’t do it right away in Line 4 (from Line 3) is because the G-D/F#-Em7 pattern is within Line 4 itself, as he is singing "lost into your eyes…"

In the last two lines of the chorus (the 4th and 5th) there’s a D chord—(these are the lines of the chorus where he pauses before singing ‘and everything, s’alright . . .’). Getting the timing down is tricky, but essentially use the patterns you have here, and go from the C to the D and tab the D chord as follows (unless you can hear it better):

    "…and everything" ……

    —————————-
    —————3————
    ———-2—————–
    —–0———————-
    —————————-
    —————————-

Then you will go into another G pattern again, and since Line 5 of the chorus begins with G-D/F#-Em7, you will connect them using the riff I tabbed up above when I explained how these Lines connect….

The (0-2-0) and (0-0-0) after the initial rise through the chords (after Em7’s and C’s and G’s) should be very soft/muted. They are played in the song from what I can tell, but they are mostly for rhythm, and they sound best when they sound most like the bongos that’re played in the tune itself. Good luck!

I know this is confusing, but it’s the best I can do at this point. Make sure you use the link I gave to the chords to follow along with what I’m saying—if you have any questions, just email me: [email protected]

    Peace,

    Matt Wensing

    1. Re: HERE IS THE TAB TO STORM (Correction)
      Matthew Wensing

Substitute this part in for where you see I had tabbed these riffs before in my original post. This ought be more clear.\n\n\nFIG. 1:\n\n(end of verse….)\n—————————————————————————\n————3————————————————————-\n———0—-0—0———2—————–0——————0—-\n——2———2———0—-0—0——-0—0—0——–0——-\n—2——————–0———0——-2——–2——–2——–\n———————-2——————3——————3———-\n\n\nFIG. 2:\n\nBeginning of Chorus Line’s 1, 2, 3, and 5… (this loops)\n\n———————————-0————————————–\n————————————-3———————————–\n———-2———-0—————-0—–0————0———-0\n——-0———-2——–2————-0————-0———0—\n—-0———-2——–3—————————-2———2—–\n-2———-0—————————————3———3——-\n\nThat ought to be more clear. I should have separated these lines in the first place. So you’ll go from what I’ve tabbed for the end of the verse (Fig. 1) directly to this (Fig. 2), and Fig. 2 will loop back onto itself at the beginning of Line 2 (from Line 1) and at the beginning of Line 3 (from Line 2) and at the beginning of Line 5 (from Line 4). Going from Line 4 to Line 5 you do not loop this, but will actually start back over with the Em7 after playing the G pattern (3-2-0-0) twice at the end of Line 3.\n\nThat ought to clear that up. Email me if you have any questions . . .\n\nMatt Wensing

If anyone has seen any Duncan Sheik tabs for his new cd "Phantom Moon," I would love it if you could tell me where to find them or if you have them and could give them to me that would be even better. Thanks -Brian

I found your request whilst searching for the tabs myself. I did come across them, and as I expected, it’s a pretty easy song. It was the change from Dm to Dmaj that was throwing me off. Of course, I can’t guarantee the accuracy of it (i found it doesn’t include the recurring climb down from C to Am/Am7 in the second half of the song). Not sure if anyone is still looking, but I found it at

Barely Breathing has easy chords, but you have to listen to the song very closely in order to play it right… the rhythm and "feel" cant be faked… im not skittish about claiming to be an expert on this song. its been my personal theme for years… anyhow, im still writing up my tab for it, and i think im dead on, e-mail me for more info

Let’s see if this works. Yay!! my first contribution to any guitar thing. The chords are written as Em, C, G, but probably should be written as Em7, C2, and G5. Too lazy to change it, but the chords are written out at the end.

Each chord is a 4/4. Except for the G – D/F#, which is a 4/4 together. You can try G/F# instead of D/F# sometimes, the important part is really the /F#.

What is Blyss? Is it an old album? New album? I’ve never heard of it but i’ve heard some songs on it. What else is on it and where can i find tabs for it. Especially the song ‘fool’
    Thanks

yes, blyss is lifehouse’s old name… I am also looking ofr the tab for "fool", and "what’s wrong with that" and "fairy tails and castles"–actually anything off of diff’s lucky day that wasn’t on no name face would be great…So if any one has that and could send it to me, thankyou so much!

Hey everyone! I need the bass and acoustic chords for lifehouse’s breathing. If any one has them, please let me know asap. my band needs it badly. Thank you!!!!!

the reason that you can’t find a tab for this song and can’t seem to trascribe it, is because the guitars in this song are vary sparse. the arpeggiated picking that you hear throughout most of the song is actually played on a bizouki (which is similar to the mandolin). These parts could be trasposed for a guitar, but it could potentially get complicated. good luck finding it, or figuring it out.
