depending on the recording, he uses capo on 2nd fret (key of E) or 3rd fret (key of F). the original mud slide slim version is in E. but like many of his tunes he has been doing recently, he has bumped the key up a half-step.

although i'm not sure, you can check his unofficial website, jt-online URL <http://www.james-taylor.com/board/ikonboard.cgi?s=76051c321517c7b46a7810077a0ef4b4;act=SF;f=7> as i believe they have some tabs. good luck. by the way, this tune is simple enough that you can probably pick-up fairly easily just by taking taking some time to listen and learn.

She plays it in A#, but I use a Capo cause I'm lazy.

i think the second chord of the verse is actually Bb7 rather than B7...hope that helps.

Hello!
Does anybody remember the name of the company or guy in the 1980's (I remember as a 13 year old around 1984-87) purchasing cassette tapes from a guy who transcribed guitar solos note for note. He would break them into sections and then play them slowly so you could copy them. Does anybody remember these? If so, could you please tell me the name of the guy or the company...they we're excellent and I'd love to be able to get a hold of some of them....Thanks a bunch, Shane

Yes, I have about 4 of them, I'd have to look at them and see if there is a manufacturer. I learned a lot from those tapes, they were great.

Yes, I know this guy that made the note-for-note tapes. His name is Jim and he lives in Oakland, CA. He has a website now. e-mail me at marshall_68@hotmail.com and I'll send you the link to his site. Your e-mail will go into my junk folder but I do check it at times so be persistent!!! Ken...
