Does anyone know the lyrics, chords, guitar tabs for this amazing song? It heard it played last night and it’s haunting me!

Do you know if the tabulature to Dougie MacLean’s song, Caledonia is available anywhere.
I’ve been searching the web unsuccessfully.
    Thank you

Just wondering if I could quite possibly grab the poor tab..I’ve looked everywhere and haven’t been able to find one at all.

Try the weeguitar site, run by Steve. It’s a bit of a pain, you have to request a tab and then he sends it as an attachment. But it’s all dougie all the time at this site!

I’ve been looking for a tablature, sheet music or just the chords for "Gloomy Winter" on Dougie MacLean’s album "Tribute". (Also performed by Tannahill Weavers and Chantan) Half an hour of Google has finally brought me here. I’d be most grateful if someone could e-mail me a file or point me to a web site that has this particular song.

              Many thanks,
              Just Jean

Hi guys. I’m new to the internet and not sure how these sites work, but…I noticed that you were looking for tablature for Dougie’s Caledonia. I recently worked out open tuning tablatures for Caledonia, Ready for the Storm, Garden Valley and Baron’s Heir. I don’t know how close they are, but they sound close. I’d be happy to share these, but am not sure how – or if you’ve found what you’re looking for.

I’ve also heard that Dougie has a tablature book out, but I don’t know what is in it.

          Chris,

I would love to see your tab for Ready For The Storm. I can’t tell if Dougie uses an alternate tuning or not. I bought Dougie’s book of songs including Storm (Dunkeld) but it’s arranged for piano. I’m trying to work out his riffs and having some trouble.

I’ve been looking for tablature to Dougie Maclean’s Caledonia. I’d really appreciate it if you could email it to me. It would be great if you wouldn’t mind sharing the other Dougie Maclean tablatures you’ve worked out.

          Thanks,

I have Dougie’s Interactive Songbook CD. Caledonia tuning is CGCGCE, capo on the 4th fret.
I’m still looking for the tuning for "Holding Back"
