: can some one please tell me the chords for machine gun man . i want the mtv headbangersball one i just want the verse , chorus and bridge i know the intro part.
Well the verse is the same as the intro. The transition to the chorus is A, Ab/A, G/A, F#/A, B then a cool run (Which i haven't figured out) then D, A, A6 (6 hammer-on-pull-off) G (note, not chord) which leads into the chorus of (single notes) E, F#, Ab, A (chord, with hammer on 6's) once; then A and hammer on 6's again, followed by what sounds like a Em -> F#m -> Em slidding chord. Then (notes) E, F#, Ab, (chord) A7 (this part repeated 2 times). Then E, F#, Ab, D (chord), A (chord), then a little hammer on with the 6th of A, a G note, E full chord strum, tap on side of guitar, A7... then back to the intro. Obviously it is somewhat hard to explain in words.
The bridge is a B power chord played with releasing the B to an A (but keeping the rest of the chord in tact) in the rythm you can pick up from the video/audio, then a A, E. Repeated 4 times, with D and A chords the last time through (instead of A, E)
What I want to know are all those cool little 'things' he does in between chords throughout the entire song. They're hard to figure out because of the horrid cameria angles and the fact that they are not 'common' formations at all.
