Anyone have the piano music for this piece? I’ve been looking for weeks now and can’t find anything! Sheet music preferable, but anything will do. Please help, it’s drivin me nuts!
I know how you feel, man! I came across your comment when searching for the same piano piece. I have actually sounded out the piano solo on my own. If you’re still really desparate, I could try to email a list of notes or something or give you a few tips to help you sound it out yourself. I think i may be a little off towards the very end of it, but i know that the beginning and middle is perfect. Go to Gruppler.freeshell.org to hear a midi file of the piano solo by itself. That is what i used to sound it out. Email me if you want my help.

u just got basic rock beats with triplets added in and then snares and crashes,for the "why do you do what you do to me baby" you just got to play on your ride with a general beat and then same for the "oo wee’s" plus add some fills in……. i just done it by ear off the cd..,. really simple and i made it more technical myself too

First off there are many versions of this song. I believe the original was the rap song by snoop dogg. hence his name in the song. Many people did a cover of the song, but most people are familiar with the Phish cover of it. They play it on a mandoline, not a banjo like I see a lot of people saying. The chords are A and D. the tab for mandoline would be: A D

Note that a mandoline is not tuned like a guitar (in 4hts) but tuned in 5ths. They play these same chords through out the song and do some soloing aw well. I never bothered to tab out the solo. If you have any other questions just ask

There really is no need for all the hostility, especially on a forum when he is just lookin for some help.
This is NOT a phish song. I don’t even think they’ve ever covered it. It is actually a song by The Gourds. I have the CD right in front of me. See, some NY rapper by the name of Phish helped them record the song originally. He has no connection to the band Phish whatsoever. Please make a note of it. I know everyone THINKS Phish did this song and, well, they’re all wrong. 100% wrong. It doesn’t even sound like Phish, when you get right down to it. Love the song – give the right people the credit they are due.
