I was skeptical at first but it does sound like John Popper on vocals and the fiddle player does have the distinctive Dave sound. Anyway, I think it's done on a mandolin and fiddle which is damn hard to do on an acoustic. I just noodle around with bar chords in the twelfth and fifteenth position and it's passable.

Now that everything is clear the song is played with just two chords A and D. The main instrument is a mandolin. A guitar is low in the mix though. To get by you can CAPO up to the fifth fret and play an open E form and an open A form chord and noodle in your A and D major scales and the penatonics also.
