Tutorials for 7 String Guitar
The site is dedicated to the art of 7 string guitar playing. The first (of many to come) publications is devoted to guitar chords based off of the Low B string. There are over 100 guitars voicings including Major, Minor, Diminished, Dominant, Suspended & Augmented.

i need a beginners level study for 7-string

Tuning floating tremolo guitars
The problem your all having is that when you change the tension (fine tuning) in the string the tension change will then affect the tremolo unit in pulling or releasing it. This has large effects when tuning the 6th or 7th string on a guitar, what needs to be done is each strring needs to be adjusted when you tune each string, eg when tuning the 7th string you need to go back and adjust the other 6, then retune the 7th then go back. its a slow process but you get there in the end. Its also easier if you tune the low strings first

:my problem is that the guitar stays in pitch upto the 5th fret... intonation problems start after that...
i've tried to fine tune it as i have a tremolo unit too...but in vain ...please help me

Everytime I tune and get close, one string is not close, but if you mess with it, it throws the rest of em out with the flloyd rose bridge on it..... My guitar is temprorarily
useless and that upsets me.

When you've tuned the guitar and you play around and pull/push the bar, some or all strings go off tune. It's frustrating but it only tells that you didn't finish up tuning the instrument properly during a string change. Here's what you should do... First ensure that the gauges match the previous ones that you've been using. or nonetheless if you want stronger/lighter gauges, screw the springs on the back of your guitar to match the tension. Then comes the trick: tune all strings one by one starting on low E. Then push the whammy bar as low as it goes. Crank it a few times and listen how the strings have gone out of tune. Then play high E and tune it again. (only the high E!) when it's tuned crank the bar down again. now hear how much it has gotten off tune. By tuning and cranking and tuning and cranking the string finds it's optimum tension and doesn't take long before it won't go off tune anymore even if pushin the bar at any direction. Now do the same therapy for all the other strings and remember to loosen all strings and start all over if your bridge raises too high. it's due the incorrect screwing of the springs again... I've found that in this way I can play as loud and bold without being afraid of my strings going offtune.

Hey, you have to get the right strings. I like 58's. I use Enie Ball's even tho I hate thet fuckin brand. D'addario only goes up to 56. Also you need a Chromatic tuner as alot of tunere don't got past E.

Schecter makes great 7 string guitar string sets.. they have 3 sizes.. Lite (56), Medium (58), and "Fucking Heavy" (62).

If you want to tune your 7-string guitar, then push and hold down the Low B string (the lowest sounding one) on the 5th fret, and hit your Low E string and now hit the Low B string with your finger on the 5th fret and if they sound the same the your in tune. Or you can use harmonics, but thats a little advanced
