Need lyrics for Sherri Easter song

I believe it is a Sherri Easter song. Anyway, song says "you deserved an armfull of roses but all you got was a handful of weeds". something similar to that. Very beautiful song. I was told the name of the song is "Handful of weeds" but I can't seem to locate it. Can anyone help me.

We are a Sr. Citizens group in Wylie Texas who sing for area Nursing homes. I need the Lyrics to "Singing in My Soul, sung by Sherri Easter with the Gaither Homecoming folks. I have the CD, bu my hearing won't le me hear the words clearly.

Not sure of the origin of this song but it is beautiful.
I found it on 16 Great Southern Gospel Classics, Vol 7 (album produced by Dottie Leonard Miller (Daywind Music Group) and has a picture of a bus on the front. Emailing the words in the meantime.
