Funny you ask, but I just saw Nickel Creek in concert last night in Dublin, Ireland. They are fantastic to say the least. The song come back down is a cover done by a guy named Tim O’Brian. Check out tab under that name. Good luck

May You Never is in dropped D (6th string dropped to D) with capo on the 4th fret. I will post the tab on the site hopefully sometime soon, but briefly:
For "May you never lay your" use a standard D shape. For "head down" retain the D shape but move your first finger from the 3rd string second fret to 5th string second fret (sort of B minor7th).
For "without a" bar the 2nd 3rd and 4th stings with the first finger for an A shape. For "hand to" keep this bar on and with the other fingers fret the 4th string at the 4th then 5th fret while fretting the second string at the 3rd then 5th fret, (a bit like a 12-bar sound). For "hold" go back to the D shape.
Repeat the Bminor7th and A pattern for "never make your bed out in the cold".
Most of the rest should now be obvious. For "love is a lesson we learn in our time" use the B minor7th type shape again but add the little finger to the 4th string 4th fret.
There are one or two more embellishments but basically that’s it.

You can get a pretty accurate transcription in Russ Shipton’s "The Complete Guitar Player Tabulature Book". Try:

You’l have to tweak it a bit to get an accurate rendition, but it takes you a long long way. It’s taken me months to get it down, but it’s great fun to play.

Try http://www.tabcrawler.com or just put your guitar in drop D tuning first of all. On the 2nd string… A string, put your pointer finger on the 4th freth, the 3 main notes are the bottom 3 strings… EAD… to make the Ping sound, pick the 3rd string while pulling back your finger, practice and you’ll get the ping. the second part, slide your pointer to the second fret, and place your ring finger on the D string…3rd string… on the 4th fret. play up the line, and you’ll figure it out. Email me with any question, or if you still can’t find it, I’ll tab it out for you.
