Re: "on my cross" Chords
Hey, i was lookin for these everywhere and couldnt find it so i figured these out-its just the basics...might not be 100% accurate, but it sounds good:
Bb Gm
How wide is your love
Eb
That you would stretch your arms
F Bb
and go around the world
Gm Eb
And why for me
Eb F Gm
would a saviors cry be heard
Dm
I dont know
Eb Eb F Gm
Why you went where i was meant to go
Dm
I dont know
Eb F
Why you love me so
Bb
Those were my hands
Gm
That was my crown
Eb F
That pierced your hands and your brow
Bb Gm
Those were my thorns those were my scorns
Eb F
those were my tears that fell down
Gm F Eb
and just as you said it would be
Eb F
you did it all for me
Gm F Eb
and after you counted the cost
Eb F Bb
you took my shame my blame on my cross
.... and so forth, good luck

Re: "on my cross" Chords
I have just heard On My Cross, so I don't know even all of the song, but I have figured out the chorus in the key of G, capo 3, because the first two chords sound pretty good with the ones from Wayne Watson's Somewhere in the World. Play the G chord with a G bass, silent A string, F#, G, D, silent E string. Then play G/E the same with the E bass instead. M = major.
:: G
: Those were my hands
: G/E
: That was my crown
: CM7 D/F#
: That pierced your hands and your brow
: G G/E
: Those were my thorns those were my scorns
: CM7 D/F#
: those were my tears that fell down
: Em Bm7 CM7
: and just as you said it would be
: G/A D
: you did it all for me
: Em Bm7 CM7
: and after you counted the cost
: G D G/E
: you took my shame my blame on my cross
