This site contains midi backing tracks for guitarists to jam with. The files have no vocal or guitar tracks so you have a virtual back up band in your own room. The site also contains tablature to match the midi files so you can learn the songs easily.

  14. How to get the FREE backing tracks

    Go to http://www.midi-tab.com On the left hand side of the page is a list of pages. Click on the bands A-K or Bands L-Z links. Find the song you want and click the MIDI link for the sound and TAB for the tablature.
    If you get stuck there is an E-mail link on the left hand side of the page, just send me an E-mail and I’ll help you out. I hope you enjoy it 🙂

    i need the backing track for "nowadays" from the film chicago but I can’t seem to find it anywhere for free. does anyone know any sites I can get it on for free? Can I get it on this site?

      I know this isn’t much help in obtaining ‘nowadays’ (I have searched many areas on your behalf and been unsuccessful), Kazaa have many backing tracks, including most of Chicago, available for free (ad-supported downloads).
