I have heard several versions, some just too fiddly, but it does not need to be ... I've used these chords for many years live, it works.
The first chord is the clue, it's like F9th, (a great blues chord) but the A is played down a semitone to Ab.
So the first two chords are on the 8th fret, C,G,Eb,Ab,F (leave the bottom E unplayed) then on the 6th fret, Bb. (playing that Bb at the 6th fret feels like the better inversion to play here, and it's not very far away!).
Repeat this for 4 times, then on the 4th time the Bb runs up from Bb to Bm, into Cm, Gm, Fm for the chorus.
The verse is all over the first 2 chords I mentioned above.
It's a great starter if you are playing live, the bass riff at the start gives you a chance to natter to the audience and say hi, etc... and it's not too 'in their face' at the start of the night.

JUst worked this out yetserday.
Bb to Fm7 played several times over, then slide up to B.
for chorus
Cm7 to Gm to Fm7 then slide up to Gm. Repeat
Solo is over the chord of Cm7

The best inversion from Bb to Fm7 is played at the 6th fret as a bar chord for Bb then move your little finger to the 3rd string to create Fm7.

Starts out B flat, then A flat.
The verse is C minor B Flat F minor G# B Flat
I was playing along with Ringo Starr All Star Band version which is way cool. Do a search for it on I Tunes.
