Its as easy as reading a book. You read tem like you read music, from left to right. Now the numbers represent the fret to hold down and the ----------- are the strings.
The strings read like this:
E----
B----
G----
D----
A----
E----
Now the symbols
b = bend
h = hammer-on
r = reverse bend
p = pull off
~ = viberato
f = feedback
/ = slide
pm = palm mute
x means you put you finger on the string just light enough so it makes a sound like the palm mute.
