Re: Suzuki Threes guitar

Hi,
Mine is a 3180, serial no RM26321. I bought it in 1976 and I wouldn't be parted with it. Solid top and incredibly easy to play. Where did you buy yours?
Cheers - Roger

Re: Suzuki Threes guitar

I purchased mine new from the local guitar store (8th Street Music) back around 1979. This is the first web hit I have ever seen for this company.

: Hi,
: I've had this guitar since 1981/82, it's a Suzuki Threes. It has a number inside of body; FE200 B
: Does anybody know anything about this guitar?
: I can't seem to find anything.
: Thanks for any help.
: Robert

FE200B Suzuki ThreeS guitar

I also have a Model FE200B Suzuki ThreeS guitar.
It plays better than a 30 yr old Martin my friend has.
It has a nickle-sized hole where my kid punched it with a pole,
but that just increases the sound quality. Had some braces re-glued &
a small mic installed under the bridge. Play it with a Fender 75w Acoustic amp.
It's a super combination. I'm working to buy another Suzuki ThreeS like the FE200B.

Re: Suzuki Threes guitar

I also have a Suzuki 3s. It appears to be a copy of a Marting. It is a really nice guitar. I have had it since around 1979, I bought it used at the time. I have owned a number of guitars since then, this is the one I have kept.

I've got a suzuki three model GR-20. anyone know anything about it? i seem to like it

Re: Suzuki Threes guitar

I have a Suzuki Three-S as well, and the label reads No. W-300. I have no idea what year it is, but it has an rich, beautiful tone. I traded a camera for the guitar about 12 years ago, and I would not dream of selling it. If anyone out there has more information regarding Suzuki Three-S guitars please contact me.

Hi. I'm student of Japan. I got W-300 too. You know that Three S was made in Nagoya City Aichi pref. Japan. So, there is many materials on HomePage which is written in Japanese. He studied in buying the guitar by them.
I don't know this information is true or not, but many Japanese says so and I think so.
Inside of the guitar, there is a No.(like W-300) on the Label and upper the label, 6 numbers is printed. First 2 numbers of it means what year it is.

Re: Suzuki Threes guitar

Hi - I have a Suzuki Three-S as well. I bought mine in 1976 new for £70 (quite a lot at the time) but I knew it had a solid top which you only get in very expensive guitars. It is a millimetre for millimetre copy of a Martin Dreadnaught including the 'triangular' shape neck. Wouldn't part with it! Cheers - Roger

Suzuki Guitar (availability)

Alain:
Read your comments on the Suzuki database. Thanks. Would like to purchase another Kiso Suzuki. Is it possible to get pictures of the different models so I can see what I'm looking for? Would like to see prices and pictures of the Suzukis you have for sale.
Thanks.

Availability

I own a guitar, model #W-65HA, Serial #70924 made by Kiso-Suzuki violin Company, Ltd. Is this model still available for purchasing?
Thank you.

Re: Availability

Your W-65HA should be worth more than $200, had to bid over £250 on eBay recently for one

Re: Availability

Hi !

No one can still purchase kiso suzuki or early suzuki guitars made in japan.

Yours is not a definitly fantastic good one.

You could get 200 US dollars for it. Not more.

regards,

Alain

suzuki w-350

i bought a w-350 in okinawa. it has a serial # 790928 stamped inside and a -79 number on the label...so i'm thinking it was made in 79. it is a gorgeous copy of a martin HD28 with snowflakes inlays, herringbone inlay, and a center back inlay with bookmatched mahogany. the spruce top is aging beautifully. it plays and sounds better than the newer martins. only one problem...it has "Blue Bell" written on the headstock! anybody out there with one similar to this one? i would give a price guestimate at about $1500. any thoughts?

Re: suzuki w-350

I also have one and love it (bought it new here in France.. long ago). I post a photo to your email ;-)

Electric suzuki

I have a Suzuki electric guitar that I picked up in 1981. Just recently I was told that it was a "lawsuit" guitar. It looks like a fender strat. The owner of a shop wants to buy it from me and I have no idea of the value, if any. It looks like Eric Clapton's black and white strat. If someone could please give me a ballpark figure.
Thank You
Art

suzuki guitars

I was wondering if anybody would be able to tell me about this guitar!
It's a Kiso-Suzuki model AB335K or the last letter might be a "R". There is also a number 45133. The guitar it's self is red mahogony on the bottom and light brown or cream colour top, with a oak wedge on the back. The top and bottom edge has a harder plastic or something like that, all around it. The neck is red mahogony with the same trim around. I was trying to find out what this guitar is worth? Ballpark! The ticket inside is signed by the name Suzuki in writing, but they all are!RIGHT! Thanks for your time

Hello, I was wondering if the guitar i listed in the subject column is worth anything. It's hard to find any info on the internet about it. Please reply and thank you for your time.

Kiso Suzuki Guitar Model #AB302 - 47236

I recently inherited the accoustic guitar and would like some information about the value, history, etc. It was purchased in the 1970's.
Thank you

Re: Kiso Suzuki Guitar Model #AB302 - 47236

Wow, an old question with no answers. Mine must be a little older than yours as it is marked 41140, but I got mine from a used shop in my hometown. I have had a few friends get it to sound like a great guitar. I am unfortunately not that good so I only Plunk it. At the time I think I paid $80.00 and that was in the late 90s.

Re: Kiso Suzuki Guitar Model #AB302 - 47236

Mine is also marked 41140 and is an AB302. I have been searching Google on this one on and off for a while now. this is the first post where I have found an AB302 noted...Does anyone have an answer yet?

Suzuki W-5025 Guitar

Hi, My Suzuki W-5025, has a solid spruce top, solid rosewood sides and three piece back. It also has abalone inlay around the sound hole and along the front binding and between the three piece back. There is a white ivoriod binding on the peghead and the rosewood finger board. Any info would be most appreciated!

Re: Suzuki W-5025 Guitar

Hi Roy, It seems to me that there are a lot of us in the same boat. My `Suzy` seems very similar to yours, but has got `Three sSs` on the headstock.
Surely there must be someone somewhere who has the answers to all our questions.
best of luck.....Nick.

Suzuki Acoustic (WR-150)

This is was I e-mailed to the 1st site I saw on Suzuki Acoustics.> I just happened to be checking for sites on Suzuki's & yours was the 1st I pulled up. I have a Suzuki acoustic WR-150 which I purchased in 1978 for $145.00 reduced from $175.00, when I was 18. I believe it is a 1976 according to the salesman at the time. The Serial# is 71017. They were no longer producing them and this was the last one at his shop.
The only info I have on it is the tag inside the sound hole which reads:Kiso Suzuki Violin Co Model#WR-150 and looks like it is hand signed by Suzuki but not for sure, could be just part of the printing process. This is said to be the same company that made the violins for the "Suzuki way of Music" for teaching young children music.
I was offered $1200.00 by a 56 yr old guitarist from So St Paul, MN USA who has had blues bands ever since jr high school. He said that the Japanesse in the 70's turned out some great guitars trying to get into the american and euro markets and confirmed the high quality.
Today at Mars Music I played a $1000. Martin that I wouldn't trade my Suzuki for.
I really started to play for the last 5 yrs and everyone who has played it from pro's to novice really likes it and always comments on the great tone. I will continue searching and if I find another info, I will try to get it to you.
