tuition attracting clients from a wide area of south-east England and from
abroad. Many styles taught but blues is a speciality, particularly
acoustic Delta blues in the style of the legendary Robert Johnson also
rocking bass/ragtime styles, open and non-standard tunings, slide and
resonator/national guitar techniques. Unusual teaching methods emphasising rhythm,
ear training, and ability to improvise. Also repairs and set-ups at
reasonable cost.

I'm looking for a lap style slide teacher, electric and dobro, blues and major scale country things, (David Lindley, Lowell George, Ry Cooder.)I would say that I'm on the border between beginner and intermediate, and have taught myself so far.
I live in whitstable, so it's do-able. I'd appreciate a reply with your rates and availability.

I live in Todmorden West Yorks/ Lancs border and have recently acquired an epiphone resonator. At the moment I am fingerpicking and playing some slide. I need advice on strings and what alterations I would need to make to convert it to a dobro.
Any suggestions welcome plus if you know anyone in this neck of the woods that is into it.
