Flamenco guitar teacher in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain

In flamenco, there´s no real substitute for learning it in the heartland of flamenco – Southern Spain.

That´s why David “El Poeta”, an experienced professional flamenco guitarist, composer and teacher, who lives and plays in the gypsy flamenco neighbourhood of Santiago, Jerez de la Frontera, Spain, gives a good start to aspiring flamenco guitarists.

Learn authentic flamenco skills in one-to-one classes in the most flamenco city in the world.

I had 2 weeks of lessons with David El Poeta. He’s a virtuoso guitarist and knows EVERYTHING about flamenco, he’s also very patient and understanding. Highly recommended.

      Hello Saeed,

I am interested in learning Flamenco too. I live in the USA. Where do you live? I have arranged to go and learn Flamenco guitar in Spain with David El Poeta in November 2005.

When i was in Iran (1977) I was looking for someone who could teach Flamenco in tehran. I found a classical guitar teacher named Simon Ayvasian. That was through University of Tehran. I had heard there were Flamenco guitarists in Tehran, but I never met one. Once I read in a book by Juan Serrano (an acclaimed Flamenco guitarist) that thaere are flamenco Centers in Tehran, but I never found them.
