Beginners question...please help!

These might sound kind of stupid to someone who has been playing the guitar for a while, but i am just learning and do not know. So here goes. When i see a chord with the letters "sus" after it, WHAT does this mean?!?!? I can't figure it out. What does it mean i have to do too? Also, how do i play chord that require more strings to be covered than i have fingers?! Please help and email me!!! please and thanks

THESE SCALES ARE VERY DIFFERENT BUT VERY COOL AND ARE PERFECT FOR HEAVY METAL.
