: In the amps section of GuitarSite, in the part about tubes are good and solid state is bad, it says that guitar effects processors and speaker simulators sound too easily reproducable and too convenient. Both of these things are pluses and not minuses. This website seems to be saying that these are drawbacks. I do agree that tubes do sound better.
I am looking for an acoustic guitar and i have only two choises left it is going to be a Taylor Big Baby or a Washburn D10S i would like to know if any one had more info on the two so i can make my mined up any info would be apreciated.
I OWN A TAYLOR 310CE, AND A WASHBURN. BOTH ARE BEAUTIFUL, QUALITY GUITARS. THE WASHBURN HAS A BRIGHT SOUND WHILE THE TAYLOR IS WARM. IF I HAD TO CHOOSE BETWEEN THE TWO, I WOULD GO WITH THE TAYLOR FOR QUALITY, PLAYABILITY AND RESALE VALUE. THERE'S NOTHING LIKE A TAYLOR...
Has anybody played through or own a Mesa Boogie F-50 1x12 Combo? I haven't played one yet, so I'm doing a little research first. Anything good or bad about them? They're fairly new and I can't find any reviews on them. Thanks

I own a semi hollow epiphone electric but on the head the name of both gibson and epiphone are writen on it. Is this a special guitar?
