It is a combination of all of those factors. Cheep stuff is made with inferior materials. You get what you pay for. As for what is good...? Depends on what you play and what you hope to achieve. For general rock and classic rock you can't go wrong with a Marshall...as for which model will be up to you. If you play harder stuff then go with a Crate Excalibur.
it is very unique, alternative rock i guess he uses classical and blues theory, lots of arpegios, he plays incredibly fast uses lots of distortion, he used to play for a band called Nitro, kind of like steve Vai and Yngwie Malmsteen mixed, he has his own unique style though, his songs are all instrumental no vocals, you have to here him for yourself, his type of music is very hard to describe, and it is incredibly complex with lots of changes. very immpresive
Some people say that michael angelo or chris impelliteri are the fastest guitarist in the world.
I have discs of michael angelo, yngwie, impelliteri.
i have listened million of times, but one day i started to listened racer x, i didn't know who was its guitar player. I am a guitarist and play music of yngwie malmsteen, joe satriani, dream theater, symphony x, system x, but for me the fastest, in conclusion the best guitarist in the world is mr. PAUL GILBERT. That dude is amazing, he can developed a terrifying speed. He studied different techniques yngwie, gary moore buckethead, and michael angelo. he has a perfect technique. paul you are a god.
Hey. I want to learn the guitar and I would like to hear opinons on the best guitars to learn from and to play Funk.. The old James Brown and Bootsy Collins type stuff. Thanx. How hard is the guitar to learn? I hope much easier than the piano!

: My son has a working mans swr that is picking up local radio stations. Does anyone know where I can get schematics and repair data. thanks
I HAD ONE OF THOSE ONE TIME AND MINE DID THE SAME THING, WE WERE PLAYING JUST ABOUT EVERY WEEKEND AND IT DIDNT REALLY MATTER WHERE IT WOULD PICK THEM UP. I HAD A FRIEND TELL ME THAT I NEEDED TO GET A SIX WAY PLUG WITH A SPEACIAL GROUND THAT WOULD GROUND THE AMP AND NOT PLUG ANYTHING INTO IT. I HAD IT ON A RACK SYSTEM SO I WOULD RUN AN EXTRA LINE FOR POWER.
I have recently overhauled my strat.... It now has a SD invader at the bridge, and just the original american 1x coil at the neck. I put a simple 2 way switch so I can just flick between them, as when they are together it is simply too overdrivey, making clean play impossible, now, the output volume levels are massively different, with the invader being more than 2x louder......Is there a way I can add something to the wireing to boost the output of the 1x coil pickup, or quieten down the SD with out loosing sound quality? Thanx in advance for any help/ideas...

I have a GT6 (just recently aquired) and for the life of me I cant suss out how to get a phaser and the Uni-vibe going at the same time - I had the functionality on my Zoom GFX-8 but cant seem to replicate it on the GT6 - is it possible anyone?
OK, you want Phaser and univibe, ok try a phaser and a tremelo in FX-1 if you experiment with chorus and tremelo then you might be able to get a similar effect... or maybe better! ;-) Hope that was of some use, remember you can change the order of FX to make big differences without changing the parameters...

Re: whats better and easier 2 learn
I personally think that acoustic is harder to pick and easier to strum. But I would recomend stating off with acoustic and then moving on to electric.

everybody says that u should start off with an acoustic but i think its far better to get a decent beginners electric to start with with a little practice amp. when you start playing guitar your fingers need to get used to the strings and acoustic strings are far harder to push down than a set of light gauge ones. i'd say get a good beginners electric, it will be less painful for your fingers and you can always move to an acoustic later.

Re: whats better and easier 2 learn
Generally starting on acoustic will make you a better player because the fingering is usually less 'forgiving' than an electric and you will hear all your mistakes much better on an acoustic... but either is fine to start with and you will probally have more fun right off starting with an electric... don't worry about sore fingers, at first anything you play will cause this, after a little while you'll develop callouses on your fingertips and it won't be an issue.

Re: whats better and easier 2 learn
Try to play on a classical acoustic one. it plays basically the same than an electric; you don't have to push on the strings that much.
