Whats up joe? you might remember me from some place I don't know how much your guild d35 is worth infact i belive i have a very similar guitar if any one tells you its value tell me would you?
I have a JCM 800 2203 that quit working. There is no sound to the cab, but when I turn it up, I can hear sound coming from one of the big transformers. At least I think that's where it is coming from. I had a loose input jack,
and when I tightened it, the whole thing turned. I checked it out, but no wires are broke, but I think that when it twisted that two of the wires may have touched each other, but I don't know. Any ideas???
I don't really have an answer to your problem but my buddy had 2 marshalls that would quit working and he'd just give them a kick in the ass and they'd work again lol.
Hey i was looking to start playing the bass guitar after drooling over listening to such bands as Slipknot, Mudvayne, Korn, Hatebreed, etc. I am not sure what I am EXACTLY looking for, but I did research on those 4 bands and i found all their basists use Ibanez... so since i want there sound i thought i would go for them. i have been looking at the Ibanez GSR200 (http://www.ibanez.com/guitars/guitar.asp?model=GSR200) since it looks like a good beginner bass, but i have been told B.C. Rich makes better basses... someone please help me out, and actually get me started here.

Go with a used BC Rich. Ibanez is a fad. Their products aren't anything special. The BC Rich will sound and play better. Go with used because you're not really sure what you want in a bass yet. This way you won't spend too much money and when you do figure out what you're doing and what you really want out of an instrument you'll probably be spending a heavy sum to get something high end. Plus, you'll want an amp to play on, and with $250 you're not going to find a decent amp and a bass. As far as an amp goes, you'll need at least 100 watts, even then you might not be able to play over a guitar half stack or a good drum set very well. Good luck.

Alright this is the deal:
When I use my wahwah-pedal I only use it on the clean sound of my amplifier. When I want to change (quickly) from clean to distortion I first have to use my footswitch to change from clean to distortion, and then I also have to de-activate the wahwahpedal, cause I want the distortion without the influence of the pedal on it........ does anybody have advice for me how I can switch quicker?? thank you very much!

Sorry 'bout that--I hit the submit button too soon. When I gig I have my wah set up far right with my distortion switch just to the left of it. In those situations, I cut the wah first and then quickly switch to dirty. You can't really tell on the clean channel that you've quit the wah right before switching, and then you have no wah effect to deal with on the dirty channel. Give it a try.

Help!! My Marshall quit working.
