Sorry, I "clicked" too soon. According to your serial number which you are good enough to post, your guitar is the 491st instrument stamped at Nashville on the 202nd day of 2001.
the way is clear and the path is clearly marked, warning signs are posted in flashing neon, when you walk on the fabled highway to heaven you must wear well appointed sandals, they must be of brown leather with a good hard wearing sole. practice at night, sleep during the day, change your strings at least once every 5 years, and most of all have fun.
go in peace my son, and walk tall with pride.

I pay £25 for an hour. Again the guy comes to me and most of the time the lessone over-run a bit. So £20 sounds pretty reasonable. The question to ask is if you need lessons once a week or once a fortnight. That really depends on how much time you get to practice.

My name is Peter VanDerbeek, and I recently founded GuitarPhotoGallery.com. The site is for YOU. It's a public photo-hosting site designed specifically for musicians (of all kinds, despite the name). I hope it's alright to post this here, but I'm not selling anything, my site is free of charge. There aren't even any ads on the site currently. I just want to share the site with other musicians.

I'd LOVE to hear your comments, so reply to this thread or contact me through the site. Thank you!
My daughter and I both have taken up guitar, purhased a decent Fender Acoustic. Would like to know the fastest way to build caulis's on our fingers. I had previously played a classic style guitar and don't remember have the same problems with my fingers
I have a Mesa DC-10 (100W 212 combo)and have bought a Mesa 2x12 external cab w/ Celestion Black Shadow 8ohm 90's. The speakers in the DC-10 are wired in series. Which outlet plug in the back of the amp should I plug the 2x12 cab into?

: : I need information about a guitar named Simga guitars est.1970 model SG-7
Steinar ... what would you like to know? Any specific questions besides value? I currently own one.
These were made by martin of Nazareth,PA., of course, contracting out in the Orient, to make a guitar similar to their own short-lived E-18.
Like the Martin, the Sigma has I believe a 9 piece body made of Maple with Rosewood splices, and a maple set neck with rosewood fingerboard. They have excellent pickups designed by DiMarzio, but made elsewhere. Martins had the real thing. There are 2 humbuckers and a 3-way toggle; no split/phase like the Martin. Other electronics are absolutely first class, with full size 500K audio taper pots and an ingenious treble bleed on the volume controls. Gotoh tuners, stop tail and a tune-o-matic style bridge were standard appointments. Workmanship is excellent throughout.
These guitars sound very good, and should sustain virtually forever. All had natural finishes, and with the original Martin curly headstock they are not considered to be be the greatest in the looks department.
I believe that the Martin company would be happy to provide any more info that you may require, except for value, as always.
I recently got a marshall mg 100 dfx and it is the best bit of kit ever. The clean sound could perhaps be a bit purer but the distortion - especially the od2 (marshalls extra distortion feature) is so sweet

For the first time I saw this 12 string guitar a couple of days ago. I liked the style and specially the price!! After that I checked out for some reviews about its performance (what kind of sound it produces? Is it nice? Etc.) but I found nothing.
Could someone help me, please?
I have a Shiro ws-30 guitar this is all I know about and can't find any thing else. I need to know the worth of it and when it was made I have had it for 13 years. I know that any guitar has to be seen to really tell its worth but im just looking for a ball park.
Hi, My name is Earl Laney. A friend of mine gave me a dobro about 20 years ago. I got it out of the attic to looke at it. It is all metal body, painted shades of brown, at the head of the wooden neck it has tortise covering the front of the head with the name of dobro engraved in it. It is in the orginal case - the brown is starting to peel off. The metal is bright under the paint. Someone told me it was made between 1935-l940. It still had the strings on and was close to being in tuned. I was wondering what the value of a guitar like this would be. Earl Laney
I bought a used Korg a5 guiter effects pedal that did not have a manual with it. Does anyone know where I can find a pdf file of this manual or anything to help. Thanks. Rockmit1@tds.net
