Sorry, I "clicked" too soon. According to your serial number which you are good enough to post, your guitar is the 491st instrument stamped at Nashville on the 202nd day of 2001.

question

please, give me the way to playing guitar

Re: question

: please, give me the way to playing guitar

Re: question

the way is clear and the path is clearly marked, warning signs are posted in flashing neon, when you walk on the fabled highway to heaven you must wear well appointed sandals, they must be of brown leather with a good hard wearing sole. practice at night, sleep during the day, change your strings at least once every 5 years, and most of all have fun.
go in peace my son, and walk tall with pride.

Hi there,
I am looking for a pedal that can control the "mixing" of signals coming out from an A/B/Y box.
My planned setup is ...

Guitar --->|A/B/Y| | ??? |
| |----->| |-----> EFX -----> Amp#2

Could someone help?
Thanks!!!

Stolen Guitar Search

Searching for Blonde, Archtop Acoustic guitar. Last seen in Emporia, Kansas in mid seventies. Has faded lettering on back that reads, "Lucky Smith". He made the guitar for my uncle, who many years later gave it to me. Let a guy who was in the hospital with my father wirk on it, and he took off with my guitar. Searched locally to no avail. If you know of this guitar please contact me. Thanks!

Re: Stolen Guitar Search

Sorry man but the chances are slim, its one of 3 things now, 1 someones toy at their house where itll never be seen in public, 2 busted and broken, or 3 pawned off or sold to whomever had the money. sorry, ive had one stolen but i found it on ebay through pure luck and contacted ebay about it, it was the see thru black LTD M 302 the second one posted, ebay got it back for me and he was questioned for theft after i showed pictures of it and the identitification number which basically showed it was mine saying A it wasnt shown or described in the profile and B it had so many fuckin numbers no ones gunna fight with a dude but if its his or not if hes got all of em down, advice, take down your numbers, and all information, like serials on the pickups, trem, bridge system, all that, and stap your initials somewhere under a humbucker in the wood to prove its yours, goood luck, trevor

Is £20 a week too much

to pay for guitar lessons? The guy says he is very thorough, and the lessons are 50 mins long. He comes to you as well. Am I getting ripped off or is £20 a lesson sound about right?

Re: Is £20 a week too much

if the guy is qualified then no, its not too much.

Re: Is £20 a week too much

well i pay 10 and my tutor is amazing, but i go to his house

Re: Is £20 a week too much

I pay £25 for an hour. Again the guy comes to me and most of the time the lessone over-run a bit. So £20 sounds pretty reasonable. The question to ask is if you need lessons once a week or once a fortnight. That really depends on how much time you get to practice.

GuitarPhotoGallery.com

Hi,

My name is Peter VanDerbeek, and I recently founded GuitarPhotoGallery.com. The site is for YOU. It's a public photo-hosting site designed specifically for musicians (of all kinds, despite the name). I hope it's alright to post this here, but I'm not selling anything, my site is free of charge. There aren't even any ads on the site currently. I just want to share the site with other musicians.

If you'd like to check it out, please visit http://www.guitarphotogallery.com

I'd LOVE to hear your comments, so reply to this thread or contact me through the site. Thank you!

Steinar ... what would you like to know? Any specific questions besides value? I currently own one.

These were made by martin of Nazareth,PA., of course, contracting out in the Orient, to make a guitar similar to their own short-lived E-18.

Like the Martin, the Sigma has I believe a 9 piece body made of Maple with Rosewood splices, and a maple set neck with rosewood fingerboard. They have excellent pickups designed by DiMarzio, but made elsewhere. Martins had the real thing. There are 2 humbuckers and a 3-way toggle; no split/phase like the Martin. Other electronics are absolutely first class, with full size 500K audio taper pots and an ingenious treble bleed on the volume controls. Gotoh tuners, stop tail and a tune-o-matic style bridge were standard appointments. Workmanship is excellent throughout.

These guitars sound very good, and should sustain virtually forever. All had natural finishes, and with the original Martin curly headstock they are not considered to be be the greatest in the looks department.

I believe that the Martin company would be happy to provide any more info that you may require, except for value, as always.

marshall mg amp

I recently got a marshall mg 100 dfx and it is the best bit of kit ever. The clean sound could perhaps be a bit purer but the distortion - especially the od2 (marshalls extra distortion feature) is so sweet

Tanglewood 12 strings guitar (TJD-12-STBK) performance

For the first time I saw this 12 string guitar a couple of days ago. I liked the style and specially the price!! After that I checked out for some reviews about its performance (what kind of sound it produces? Is it nice? Etc.) but I found nothing.

shiro guitar ws-30

I have a Shiro ws-30 guitar this is all I know about and can't find any thing else. I need to know the worth of it and when it was made I have had it for 13 years. I know that any guitar has to be seen to really tell its worth but im just looking for a ball park.

dobro guitar

Hi, My name is Earl Laney. A friend of mine gave me a dobro about 20 years ago. I got it out of the attic to looke at it. It is all metal body, painted shades of brown, at the head of the wooden neck it has tortise covering the front of the head with the name of dobro engraved in it. It is in the orginal case - the brown is starting to peel off. The metal is bright under the paint. Someone told me it was made between 1935-l940. It still had the strings on and was close to being in tuned. I was wondering what the value of a guitar like this would be. Earl Laney

Korg a5 Manual

delay question

what delay should i pick if i can choose between the digitech x-series delay or the ibanez tone-lock series? wich do you think is better?

Re: delay question

is there any reason why you are not considering the Boss DD3? which would have been my first choice.

Re: delay question

I have the Digitech one and it's awesome but I wish I'd gone with the Boss DD3 or DD6.
