I have an Epi Sheraton that was made after 1990 (i guess it's a sheraton II) that I've been really happy with. Then again, I recently fixed some stuff on someone's Epi Les Paul that shouldn't have left the factory that way. It seems like some EPi stuff is very good, and some is not. I say go for a casino, but play it and check out EVERYTHING on it before you purchase it. Everything. On the paul I fixed the damn pickup selector switch was in backwards, the jack wouldn't hold the cord, etc, etc. My sheraton is yet to give me any trouble whatsoever (i might swap the pickups), so some Epis are good, but they tend to be inconsistent.
