I'm glad I was able to help. If you do ever "plug-in", the active pick-up system can do wonders for the tone, especially if the sound system leaves much to be desired. My acoustic/electric has an active system and I prefer a "scooped mids" sound, removing all middle frequecies with the controls. It gives the guitar a very punchy tone, really thick. Try it, you may like that too.
