This may not seem like a clear answer, but once you get the BR-8 and read the manual, I'll all be clear. I've also known guys who have managed 5-10 songs on a zip drive. Also remeber that if you record onto two tracks a a time, the space used is double, ie the disk space is reduced twice as fast.
