I may be trying to do something not possible with the GR33. I'm layering tracks in Cakewalk's Guitar Studio. However, it appears I can only run one channel at a time. In other words, if I change channels (to lay down another track and patch), the original channel and patch go 'mute'. It's not until I return to the channel set in my GR-33 that the sound comes back on. Is it possible to assign several channels to the GR-33 and layer tracks in a midi software program? Moreover, the software program seems to ignore the patch numbers assigned to the track and accepts whatever patch is set on the GR-33 module. Any assistance appreciated.
