I saw an older ESP M III guitar at a local pawn shop listed for $200.00 without knowing anything about the damn thing. The white axe is signed on the body by an artist of whom I have no clue about. It has a S/S/H config and Floyed trem with one volume knob and no tone knob. Neck is bolt-on with 24 jumbo frets and dotted inlayed on the base part of the neck. There is no ESP logo on the 12th fret, just the double dotted inlay. The back neck plate has the numbers 70387.The reversed head stock has the ESP logo with "M III" written next to it.If anyone can identify this guitar for me I would greatly appreaciate it. I called an ESP office in Cali and I was told that the axe was made in japan in 1991 and retailed for $1500.Unfortunately, that was all they could say about it. Most importantly,I would like to know who the artist is that signed the axe. ------------- THANKS A BUNCH!
