Jimi Hendrix used several different Strats as well as acouple of Gibsons (including a flying V). All of his guitars were standard off the shelf stuff, nothing special which makes him all the more special. They were all right handed instruments that he had strung for left handed use (ie: low e becomes high e). Nothing else was changed, the controls and bridge remained the same as when they were bought.
