Wondering where I can find out how much a Musicman Sabre II is worth. I have the serial number, but don't know what year it is.

hi there, i've got a sabre 1, the previous owner stripped the paint off but the guy who valued it said around £1000-£1500, i don't belive it, the going rate for a stingray 2 (very similar) on ebay is around £500 (uk)
