: Regarding the amp ( or amps ) that Chet Atkins used during his career. Does anyone know the amps Chet used when he plugged his Gretches and later his Gibson Country Gentleman ? For lack of better description his tone was unique and had what I would characterize as an almost "organ" type of " grainy " tone to it.
