you're right, tabs are easy. but everyones gotta learn so here goes. Its easier to learn in person w/ someone teaching you but i'll see what i can do.
First you have 6 horizontal lines that represent the strings on a guitar. the letters on the far left represent the string. i. e.
A------------------------. So that means the a string. Numbers on the line represent what fret you hold on that string. ie A------------8---------. That means you hold
8th fret on the a string. if they want you to play a chord, it will look like this
e----3
B----0
G----0
D----0
A----2
E----3
So that would be a g chord, if you dont understand why, then you're gonna have to consult someone else. so chords are tabbed in line w/ each other.
solos and other riffs where you are not using chords are tabbed progressivly. hope this helps.
