Rasing the action will hopefully help, like was said earlier..

however, on my old guitar (which was one of those $300 guitar + amp, guitars) i had the same problem, i raised the action to the point of agony for my hands... and the buzz still remained, i took it to a store and the guitar tech their said that my frets were unevenly filed.. and that was causing the buzz...
