POD 2.0 live - amp simulations and sound clarity

: Is there a good way of getting the amp/cabinet simulations on a POD 2.0 in a live situation? Also,the sound I get is not very clear if I am playing with another guitarist. It was much clearer when I use to play with just one pedal. With the POD my sound is not cutting through well at all.
