ok i dont know much about distortion... being a college student, i dont have the latest amp outfit for my electric guitar etc but i can tell roughly...
its when you change the sound, using an amplifier with the "distortion switch"... it sounds kinda strong and is often used in metal, etc... id have to ask someone else on this board, for more info.
