When changing strings I just use a toothbrush to get the 'big gunk' off and then just use lemon oil conditioner to 'fine' clean, and as a not too much lemon oil too often I hear can cause problems with inlays and stuff, I've never had a problem though so just go easy with the stuff and wipe off any excess... pledge also works fine too. While the strings are on I try to always wipe down the neck and strings after playing.
: He does anyone have any tips on how i should clean the fretboard of my flying V. I believe it is rosewood... and moreand more finger residue is getting stuckto it ... how to get it of and keep the board in shape?
