Locking Tremolo

Whats the difference between a locking tremolo, a double locking tremolo, and a non-locking tremolo. Any answers you can give would be helpful.

A locking tremolo is where it locks at the top of the neck,,with a string locking device,, and a double ,,is neck and bridge
as a non locking ,is non at all ....

How do i tune my floy rose locking tremolo on my seven string. I know u take the neck things off but then the bridge always comes up when i try aternate tunigs like C#F#BEG#C#C#
